The 6th-annual Offense-Defense All-America Game will feature four players named All-Americans by SI.com.
Two players were honored on the first-team headlined by quarterback Maty Mauk, of Kenton (OH). Mauk is a Missouri commit who set the national prep record for career passing yards (18,520) and touchdowns (213). Also on the first-team is Gaffney (SC) wide receiver Quinshad Davis who hauled in 2,009 receiving yards and 25 touchdowns while boasting a 4.1 GPA.
"Mauk and Davis both had outstanding seasons and should no doubt be great college players, " said Offense-Defense Director of Player Personnel Josh Buchanan, "These two men had great seasons on and off the field and exemplify what an O-D All-American should be.”
Two players were named honorable mention in Brush (OH) tight end Pharoah Brown and Copperas Cove (TX) all-purpose player Orlando Thomas.
"Brown is one of the most intriguing uncommitted players in the country and has an NFL frame and Thomas is a guy who can do a lot of things and has loads of potential, " said Buchanan, "I believe both of these guys will have big games for us in Dallas.”
