14 O-D Bowl Alumni Considered Potential Top 100 NFL Draft Picks

Entering the 2012 NFL Draft, Offense-Defense has 16 players combined who are considered potential top 100 selections or mentioned for this weekend's upcoming NFL Draft by three reputable gurus. The players were ranked by NFL.com Senior Writer Gil Brandt, a former Cowboys Personnel Director, NFL.com Draft Analyst Mike Mayock, and Packers legendary beat writer Bob McGinn.

Last year O-D had the No. 1 overall pick Cam Newton and this year the organization expects 20-25 players to be selected in the NFL Draft.

Georgia Tech wide receiver Stephen Hill has used a great NFL Scouting Combine to vault into first-round discussion and has been rated 24th by Brandt, 26th by Mayock, and a top 100 pick by McGinn. Mayock rates Hill No. 4 among wide receivers while McGinn lists him as 6th-best.

McGinn and Mayock both rated Stanford guard David DeCastro as the No. 1 guard in this draft while Brandt rates him 17th overall and Mayock lists him 24th overall, respectively.

Cordy Glen
Georgia offensive linemen Cordy Glenn has caused disagreement on his position with Brandt rating him 29th and Mayock at #25. He is rated the No. 2 guard by McGinn and the 3rd rated tackle by Mayock.

Glenn's teammate, cornerback Brandon Boykin is rated 51st by Brandt and 61st by Mayock while McGinn lists him as a top 100 pick and the No. 8 kick returner.

Oklahoma star cornerback Jamell Fleming is rated 55th by Brandt, 90th by Mayock, and in McGinn's top 100.

Ole Miss offensive tackle Bobby Massie is listed as a top 100 pick by McGinn and 44th by Mayock with Brandt listing him at No. 57. McGinn lists him as the 4th best offensive tackle and projects him to go in the second round.

David DeCastro
Washington defensive tackle Alameda Ta'amu is rated 86th overall by Brandt, 64th by Mayock, and a 2nd-3rd round projection by McGinn.

Texas linebacker Keenan Robinson is rated No. 81 by Brandt while McGinn lists him as a 4th round projection and the #9 outside linebacker in this draft.

Texas A&M running back Cyrus Gray is rated 109th overall by Brandt and has a 4th-5th round projection by McGinn. McGinn rates Gray as the 11th best running back.

Other alumni rated high by respected gurus include Oklahoma wide receiver Ryan Broyles who is rated 99th by Brandt, 97th by Mayock and a top 100 pick by McGinn. McGinn rates him 15th among his position.

Others that McGinn has rated among receiver include California's Marv Jones at 13 and Wisconsin's Nick Toon as 14th, and Texas A&M's Jeff Fuller at No. 25.

Toon is rated in the top 100 by McGinn while Jones is rated 89th by Mayock and a top 100 pick by McGinn.

Two defenders round out those listed as top four round selections as Arizona State cornerback Omar Bolden is rated 115 overall by Brandt while he lists California defensive end Trevor Guyton 116th overall.

South Carolina quarterback Stephen Garcia rounds out the list rated No. 19 at his position by McGinn.

Vick, Spikes, Cromartie add to Offense-Defense Roster Expansion

Offense-Defense Sports is proud to announce the latest marquee additions to its camp instructional roster. Adding to the proud tradition and Pro Football Hall of Fame talent including the likes of Steve Young, “Too Tall” Jones, and Marshall Faulk among others, O-D's roster has added current-day NFL luminaries such as Michael Vick, Takeo Spikes, Antonio Cromartie, Steve Smith, Darren Sharper, and Brian Hartline.

Vick, the superstar quarterback of the Philadelphia Eagles, just wrapped up his 9th NFL campaign, amassing over 3800 all-purpose yards and 19 combined rushing and passing touchdowns. Spikes, is coming off a year where he picked up a sack, an interception, forced three fumbles, and made and assisted on over 100 tackles at linebacker for the San Diego Chargers. Cromartie did a little bit of everything, nabbing 4 interceptions, forcing a fumble, having a hand in over 40 tackles, and returning over 400 yards worth of kickoffs for the New York Jets at Cornerback.

Smith won a Superbowl with the Giants in his rookie year and spent last season in a part-time role with the Eagles where he still managed to find the endzone. He is now playing for the St. Louis Rams. Hartline is a young and talented wide receiver with the Miami Dolphins who snagged 35 receptions for 549 yards and a touchdown last year.

Upcoming NFL Draft prospect, O-D Family member Josh Norman, gives back to community [Video]

We're proud of each and every one of our O-D Alum, All-Americans, and Family members. We're doubly so whenever one exemplifies the ideals of decency and charity we stress are such important parts of being a productive member of society and humanity beyond the football field.

Josh Norman, on track to be the third-ever player drafted from Coastal Carolina University, took time out of his schedule of preparing for the 2012 NFL Draft and passed out food to the homeless and needy in Myrtle Beach, SC yesterday. When he was done, he spent the rest of his afternoon signing autographs and posing for pictures for and with those less fortunate.

It's our sincere hope that Josh makes a huge splash at the Draft this month. His success couldn't happen to a better person. Good luck, Josh!

Youth All-American Bowl-hype pushing Camp Capacity to the limit!

The weather is warming up all over the nation that can only mean one thing: O-D Camps! Thanks to our continually-improving camp experience and unprecedented hype from our Youth All-American Bowl, some of our camp locations for this upcoming season are approaching capacity.

As such, in order to maintain the quality and availability our customers expect from an Offense-Defense Camp, we're limiting the amount of campers per position by location. For this reason, it's more important than ever to not wait until the last minute to secure your registration.
